What are GLP-1 medications?
GLP-1s are medications shown to help people lose weight. They work by lowering hunger, slowing digestion, and steadying blood sugar. Semaglutide and Tirzepatide are the two most common GLP-1s.
What's the difference between Semaglutide and Tirzepatide?
Both help control hunger and blood sugar. Tirzepatide works on two body signals; Semaglutide works on one. Some patients lose weight faster on Tirzepatide. Your doctor will help you pick the right one.
Are these medications FDA-approved?
